Padilla v. Benson
Vicente Padilla had his A game as he cranked through the struggling Eagles lineup one by one. His team gave him the runs support he needed pasting five scores in the top of the fifth inning. Even Padilla plated one and scored himself in that inning.

In the top of the seventh inning, Padilla, being a little too competetive, got into a heated argument with the homplate umpire over a called third strike. Though the Cavemen's manager tried to get him calmed by stepping between the pitcher and ump, Padilla still ended up ejected. He would leave the game after six innings pitched and a no hitter still in tact. Zerbe came in to finish the game and yielded the Eagles first hit in the bottom of the eighth inning. With the score 10-1 by the time the home team plated the first run, the game was already out of reach. Final 10-4.

The Eagles continue to struggle and the Cavemen's pitching continued to baffle. Simontachi only allowed three hits in his six innings of pitching before the game was called due to a sudden downpour with one out in the top of the seventh inning. So far, the seventh innings of this series had been tumultuous. Final 6-0.

The Eagles finally woke out of their slumber and put some lumber to action. Soriano led off with a solo dinger. Barrett had a two run shot as did Garciaparra. And though the Cave were getting on base, they couldn't manage to get all the way around but once. Final 6-1.
