Longmeadow coming off an impressive series against the dought nuts geared up to face a three headed pitching monster, and boy was it ugly.

D. Wells vs. Armas (Game #4)
The Mafia jumped over Armas early led by two walks and an error followed by a Lance Berkman grand slam in the first inning. Armas and the pen pitched great the rest of the way. This didn't matter however as Wells pitched a brilliant two hitter to give the Mafia a 4-1 win. The lightning offense was grounded and would stay that way for awhile(hint).

Game #6
Mulder Vs Pettite

Pettite was determined to end the losing skid in this game, and when ausmus, and pena key three runs in the fourth that would be all that was needed due to masterful pitching by pettite and an injury in the second inning from Berkman and Mclemore colliding in to each other which seemed to throw their lineup in disarray. shawn green capped it off with a three dinger in the seventh to seal the 6-0 win, as the lightning finally slayed the monster this one named mulder.
