Game 1: Sabathia v Hernandez
The Thespians got the 2nd half off to a good start on a Shea Hillenbrand RBI double in the first. RBI hits by Orlando Cabrera and CC Sabthia gave them a 3-1 lead in the 2nd. Luis Gonzalez tied the game in the third with a 2 run dinger. Karim Garcia gave the Thespians their third lead of the game with a solo homer in the 6th. In the bottom of the 8th, Thespian reliever Joey Eischen gave up the game tying single to Mike Mtheny. With two-out, run scoring hits by Hiram Bocachica and JoseVizcaino gave the Hitmen the lead and victory 6-4.

Game 2: Millwood v Maddux
Game two lived up to its billing as a pitchers duel. In the first, Marquis Grissom led off with a single and went to second on a ground out. He then came home on Wilson's rbi single making it 1-0. The hitmen threatened in the bottom of the first by putting runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out. However a AROD strikeout and Steve Finley weak grounder to 2nd , sandwiched by a Luis Gonzalez IBB ended the threat. Maddux gave up only 6 hits and no additional runs, but was outdueled by Millwood, who tossed a complete game 3 hitter, retiring the last 18 batters in order and giving the Thespians their first win over the Hitmen 1-0.

Game 3: Ishii v Moss
The finale and rubber matched featured two lefties. However, Ishii only last two batter and his arm stiffened up. The hitmen scored first in the third on an RBI double by Juan Rivera. However, the Thespians tied it in the third by manufacturing a run. A Lopez single and stolen was followed by a slow roller that moved him to third with two out. A Jose Vizcaino throwing error allowed Lopez to score tying the game 1-1. In the sixth, Alex Rodriguez broke the tie with a 2-run double. Three Hitmen pitchers combined on a 4-hitter as the Hitmen won 3-1.
