Boston win this offensive serie 2-1, 49 runs are scored by both team, just plain ugly, but batters did not complain much.

Armas vs. Glavine (May 21st)
Poor display of pitching in this game (well poor display all series long may I had). 17 points was score in that 1st game between the Lightning and the Cajuns. Lightning strike 1st in the 1st when Glavine cannot get the 3rd out, Green HB, Tejada 1B, Williams 1B RBI, Ausmus then clear the base with a 2B 2rbi. But Cajuns come back in the bottom of the 1, with 5 runs (1 unearned) all 1B and BB. 5-3 Cajuns after 1, Vina HR in T2 (he hit 2 HR this series alone, more than his entire carded self). Lightning then gets 2 more runs in the 4th to chase Glavine, Ausmus HR then consecutive 2B by Pena and Marrero. 6-5 Lightning. But yet again Cajuns back in T4, Perez 1B, Hatteberg 1B, after 1 out Williams 1B, then with 2 out Rolen BB rbi and Fick 1B 2RBI but Rolen get nailed trying for 3rd. 8-6. Lightning did come within a 1 run but could not get pass by Cajuns in game 1.

Pettite vs. Meadow (May 22th)
Overwelming start of game for Longmeadow against Meadow (the long must have meant Long ball meadow). 11 runs in 2 the first 2 innings and we closed the book in this one. In the second to top the top John (Babe Ruth) Mabry hit a slam (it would not be the last slam of the serie though). 4 HR for the Lightning guy&Mac226;s (well you can imagine that if Vina hit 2, the ball travel a lot in Yankee Stadium). Only one thing could have downed the Lightning, when Pettite injured himself in the 2nd but he will be out only 1 days.

Miller vs. Fogg (June 23th)
The last game of this serie was very close til the 7th when all hell break lose for Longmeadow. Again Lightning strike 1st in the 1st, Vina HB, Tejada 1B, FC by McGriff push Vina to 3rd, then he come to the plate on a SacFly by Green. Cajuns equal the score in the 2nd Williams BB, Schneider 1B Williams to 2rd, then Rolen hit a FC rbi. 1-1 after 2. In the 4th Mister Miracle, Vina hits a 2 run HR with 2 outs giving a 2 run lead to Lightning. Fick make it a 1 run game when he HR in the 5th. Cajuns get the equilizer in the B6, when Perez 2B and after 2 outs Williams 2B rbi., but yet again Tejada gives the edge to the Lightning with a HR in T7. 4-3 Lightning. Cajuns demolish Miller in the B7 though making the game out of reach for Longmeadow. Relief pitching being ired on both side longmeadow coach had not much choice but to keep his pitcher in game. After 1 out, Fick 2B, then with 2 out the party begin. Moller 2B rbi, Pere 1B rbi, Rentaria 1B, Hatteberg BB, Williams BB rbi, Franco (ph) 1B rbi and then Rolen that do nothing but hit HR from time to time, hit his 2nd slam of the year making the game 11-4 cajuns. Rolen gets his 30 rbi of the year, even though his average is 229 (but he gots 8 HR&Mac226;s). Perez injured himself in the 9th making thing interesting since no one was left to play in the outfield, so Edgar Martinez found a glove in the stand and got to RF, luckily nothing happen. Perez will be out 5 days prorated, so he will miss the serie against Carolina but will be back for the next one.
