i find myself in a quandary every time i mention poetry. some loathe it. others run to it as if they've found a lost treasure from ancient days. in regards to poetry, that is normal. that someone would want to read mine, well, that is all the more mind boggling. i enjoy sharing it yet fearful of opinions drawn from it. truly a quandary

some of the poems took months and months to work out. others were a quick passing thought that seemed to nearly write itself. most do not rhyme, so if that is your idea of what true poetry is all about, prepare yourself for the "grown up" version ...
